MOIRAI Partners Drive Ocean Innovation at EGU General Assembly 2026

Partners from MOIRAI are showcasing the future of marine modeling and climate risk management this week at the EGU General Assembly 2026. Held from 3–8 May in Vienna, Austria, and online, the event serves as a platform for the our latest advancements in supporting the European Digital Twin of the Ocean (DTO).

MOIRAI’s participation includes the participation by Aarhus University (AU), National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC), Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI), Barcelona Supercomputing Centre (BSC), Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI), and the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR):

    Building a Resilient Future
By presenting at EGU26, MOIRAI partners are ensuring that high-resolution marine data is accessible for coastal adaptation strategies. These efforts directly support the goal of creating a “living” digital representation of our oceans to predict and mitigate the impacts of a changing climate.
