MOIRAI Partners Bring Their Ocean Modelling Expertise to ICM-BSC Seminar
The MOIRAI Project was thrilled to take part in the seminar “Developing Synergies between the Institut de Ciències del Mar (ICM) & Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC)”, an exciting gathering at the crossroads of marine science and high-performance computing.
This seminar offered a unique platform for researchers to explore how cutting-edge supercomputing can accelerate our understanding of the ocean and its response to climate change. MOIRAI partners showcased their latest advances in next-generation ocean and biogeochemical modelling, demonstrating how their work is powering climate risk assessments and supporting initiatives such as the Copernicus Marine Service and the Digital Twin Ocean.
The collaboration between MOIRAI, ICM-CSIC, and BSC is a fantastic opportunity to push the boundaries of ocean modelling. By combining supercomputing power with innovative marine ecosystem research, we can better understand and predict the future of our oceans.
The workshop sparked new ideas, fostered partnerships, and highlighted the vital role of MOIRAI in shaping the next generation of climate-resilient ocean science.
