MOIRAI Connects with Marine Management Stakeholders at PRISMÀTIC Event in Catalonia

MOIRAI was presented at a recent #rumbsPrismàtic event in Catalonia, on 11th May 2026, bringing together researchers, public authorities and professionals involved in marine monitoring, conservation and management.
Maria Bas, Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) introduced MOIRAI as part of the research activities of the iMARES group during a rapid presentation session featuring marine monitoring and conservation initiatives.
Organised within the PRISMÀTIC knowledge-sharing initiative, the event aimed to strengthen connections between scientific research and the practical needs of marine and coastal management. It provided an opportunity to reach municipal and regional authorities, environmental managers and other stakeholders involved in planning and protecting marine ecosystems.
The event highlighted the importance of dialogue between researchers and those responsible for managing marine environments, creating opportunities for future knowledge exchange and collaboration.
