Deadline Extended for ICONHIC 2026 Abstract Submissions
As part of its commitment to advancing coastal resilience and integrating digital technologies for risk reduction, MOIRAI is co-organising the International Conference on Natural Hazards and Infrastructure (ICONHIC 2026) — a major event bringing together experts and innovators shaping the future of climate adaptation and sustainable coastal management.
Researchers and practitioners now have until 30 March 2026 to submit their abstracts. ICONHIC 2026 will spotlight the latest developments in hazard and risk assessment, digital technology, Earth observation, and early warning systems, with a particular focus on creating safer, smarter, and more resilient coastal and urban environments.
Led by Dr. Denis Istrati (MOIRAI), Dr. Nils René Goseberg, Ioan Nistor, Tiziana Rossetto, and André R. Barbosa, the conference provides a unique platform for cross-disciplinary exchange between engineers, scientists, policymakers, and technology developers.
